Independent Commissioner
Mr. Hans Kartikahadi, an Indonesian citizen, was first appointed as an Independent Commissioner of Indofood based on the resolution of the AGM in 2021 with the latest reappointment in 2024. He is concurrently Chairman of the AC of the Company (2021-present). He does not have any concurrent role as a Director, Commissioner or Committee Member in other public companies. He was previously an Independent Commissioner of ICBP (2015-2021) and member of the Board of Trustee of the University of Indonesia (2019-2022).
Mr. Kartikahadi was a founder of the Public Accountants Section in the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI), now known as the Indonesian Institute of Public Accountants (IAPI). He was also the Chairman of the Indonesian Accounting Standards Setting Committee, now known as the Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards Board (1986-1990 and 1990-1994), where he pioneered the convergence of the Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards with International Accounting Standards/International Financial Reporting Standards (IAS/IFRS). He was Chairman of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination Board in Indonesia (2000-2003), Founder and Managing Partner of Hans Kartikahadi & Co, Public Accountants, and a Founding Partner of Hans, Tuanakotta & Mustofa (HTM), a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) in Indonesia. Before retirement, he was the Chairman and CEO of HTM Group, a DTT Asia Pacific Management Council Member, and a DTT International Board Member who represented the Asia Pacific region.
Mr. Kartikahadi was a researcher in the fields of accounting, information systems and management at Bremer Auschuss für Wirtschaftsforschung, Bremen, Germany, and a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.
Mr. Kartikahadi obtained a Doctorandus degree in Accountancy from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Indonesia in 1966.
He has no affiliation with the members of the BOC, BOD or the substantial shareholder of the Company.
